River position

Get the relative position of the river within the active floodplain. The function divides the area of the active floodplain sf.afe_csa by the sf.axis and divides sf.afe_sides_buffered_axis area on the left side of the river by the corresponding area on the right hand side of the river. The smaller the result the further left the river flows within the active floodplain at the specified hectometer.

Arguments

x

must be a single integer indexing one hectometer polygon of sf.afe_csa along the River Elbe. x must be element of seq(from = 1, to = length(sf.afe_csa), by = 1).
